Agent terms of service
Draft of October 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and LeadGate ("we", "us"), which runs LeadGate. They cover your agent account, your wallet, plans and the leads we send you. By creating an account or loading your wallet, you agree to them.
Came here from a mortgage protection quote form? These terms are for agents. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and hold an active license to sell life insurance (or be an agency whose leads are worked only by licensed agents).
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date, including your name, phone, license number and the states you choose.
- You are responsible for your login and for everything done in your account. Do not share your login. Tell us right away at support@leadgate.io if you think someone else has used it.
- One account per agent unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. Any unused wallet balance is then handled as described in our Refund Policy.
2. Licensed states only
- Only choose states where you hold an active license to sell life insurance. Leads are matched to the state of the homeowner's ZIP code.
- If a license lapses or is suspended, remove that state from your account the same day.
- We may ask for proof of your licenses at any time and pause delivery until we receive it.
3. Wallet and prices
- You pay for leads from a prepaid wallet. A lead's price is taken from your wallet when the lead is delivered to you.
- Your price locks when you load. The lead price shown when you load your wallet is the price you pay on that money. It does not change on money you already loaded. A later load uses the price shown at the time of that load.
- Prices, the minimum load and any card fee are shown in your portal before you pay.
- Your wallet balance can only be used for leads on LeadGate. It is not a bank account, earns no interest and cannot be transferred to another person.
- Free lead credits we give are a courtesy, have no cash value and are used before paid leads.
- Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
4. Plans
- Plans are optional monthly memberships that give you a lower lead price and a limit on how much you can load in each period.
- Plans renew every 30 days and charge your saved payment method at each renewal until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It takes effect at the end of your current 30-day period, and your plan stays active until then.
- If you upgrade during a period, you pay the difference between the two plan fees and the new plan applies right away. Your period end date does not change.
- If we change a plan's price, plans already running keep the price they started with.
- Plan fees are covered in our Refund Policy.
5. How leads are delivered
- Each lead comes from a person who filled in a mortgage protection quote form and confirmed their phone number by entering a code we texted to it.
- We verify the phone number only. We do not verify the other answers, the person's health or insurability, or whether they will buy.
- Leads appear in your portal and, if you connect one, are sent to your CRM. Keeping your CRM connection working is your responsibility; leads stay in your portal either way.
- Delivery depends on your states, daily cap, wallet balance, plan and account status. We do not promise any number of leads in a day or a period.
- A phone number we already received in the last 90 days is not sent to anyone and is not charged.
- Leads whose phone was not verified are only sent to you if you turn on bonus leads. They are clearly marked and priced separately.
6. One agent per lead
We send each verified lead to one agent account only. We do not sell or send the same lead to another agent.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Contact leads only about the insurance they asked about, and only in the ways they agreed to.
- Follow every law that applies to your calls, texts and emails, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, do-not-call rules and state insurance and telemarketing laws. You are responsible for your own scripts, messages and compliance.
- Stop contacting anyone who asks you to, right away.
- Not resell, share or pass leads to anyone else.
- Not mislead anyone: no claims of being their lender, a government program, or of guaranteed approval or a guaranteed price.
- Keep lead information secure and use it only to help that person with their insurance request.
- Not misuse LeadGate: no scraping, no sharing logins, no attempts to get around limits or security, no abuse of the support chat.
8. No guarantee of results
A lead is a person who asked about coverage, not a sale. We do not guarantee contact rates, appointments, sales, commissions or any return on what you spend. Calculators, examples and statistics on our site are illustrations, not promises.
9. Our service
LeadGate is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change features, states we serve, and prices for future loads. We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable.
LeadGate is not an insurance company or insurance agency and does not sell insurance or give insurance advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost commissions or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about LeadGate is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
You agree to cover us for claims that come from how you contact or deal with leads, or from your breaking these terms or the law.
11. Ending your account
You can pause delivery at any time in your portal and cancel a plan at any time. To close your account, email support@leadgate.io.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date and tell you in your portal or by email before important changes take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.
